Oh what ails our dear continent? SSA seems forever caught out by developments, as though we’re always in slumber before waking up in a start as the NEXT BIG THING whooshes by!
The ICT revolution is just about our best chance yet to get onto the bandwagon, if only we can prevent tripping over one another in a bid to do so! The other day, when perusing some internet usage statistics in SSA, I realized that this very thing called the Web that has come to define the pretty much the context for both my personal and working lives, is a world that only a TINY fraction of my brethren enjoy, leave alone have access to.
